we started by developing the fabric from scratch inspired by a vintage shirt we found years ago at the paris flea market. to replicate this garment we custom-milled our own fabric. after many trials, we used a coarse recycled cotton yarn knit intentionally loose. using imperfect recycled yarns creates the vintage texture the highs and lows of a t-shirt that feels and looks like you have already washed it 100 times.

when there is a need, there is a want. that is what co-founders Lisa Hickey & Jen Menchaca thought about the t-shirt business. "we are t-shirt girls. we wear jeans and tees everyday." Jen Menchaca, co-founder. the brand focuses on essentials that are made from quality fabrics. founded in 2020, two friends and colleagues identified something was missing in the industry. "we knew there was a hole and an opportunity. we wanted to create a t-shirt brand that was available all year round so customers could restock their favorites. we started with 7 styles. 3 of them are still our top sellers to this day." Neckline too high - size up?

I love the fabric and heather grey color - both give perfect vintage vibes. But there is something very weird about the cut. In my regular size XS, the body fit well but the neckband was extremely high, pulling the fabric of the shirt up and in. (If you look closely you can actually see this effect a bit in a couple of the model pics.) For reference, I’m 5-4, bust 32, waist 26. I took the neckband out with a seam ripper and it was much better. The pic here shows the shirt with the neckband ripped out - you can see the neck is still quite high! Perhaps sizing up would have helped? I’m not sure.

Love these T’s. Different styles fit loose/tight. One style in a small might be perfect while another might be tight in the small, and another in small will be roomy. This style I have in both the medium and small. The small is great for layering but not for everyday wear (tight in the chest), but someone else might like to draw attention to the chest area. Pay attention to measurements. Great well made product!!

The Sheryl is the perfect tee for everyday. Beware though that it does run smaller and should be hand washed and left to air dry. Usually wear Small is other brands and in the Sheryl, the Medium was the perfect fit.
